Joined as fifth engineer and then sailed on various vessels of various national international shipping companies. Final rank held Chief Engineer. Sailed on General Cargo vessels with heavy lift/Bulk Carriers/Fully Refrigerated vessels. Slow speed and medium speed diesel engines.

Worked as a Technical Superintendent rising to the rank of Managing Director for a ISO 9002 and ISM compliant company. Activities included overall incharge of running office with 27 staff and complete ship management of 19 vessels Including Product tankers, chemical carriers, LPG carrier, fully Refrigerated cargo vessels, general cargo multipurpose vessels and a Jack up Drilling rig operating in Bombay High.

Well experienced in negotiating with shipyards for Dry Dockings & New buildings, H&M Claims, Chartering of vessels, Sale & Purchase of vessels, Dealing with government authorities.
